Why not Sid as in Siddharth?

Amit is a poor name to throw at western anglophones in the UK or the US
because it is pronounced "ummit" and no one catches that easily. If spelt,
people say "ay-mit" or "ahm-it". Takes too much time to explain that "Amit"
actually means "a-mita" - "without limit" and is one of several thousand
names given to Ganesha the elephant headed god.

Sid is good. Sunny is fine. Rahul is - ummmm - I don't know.

shiv
