Anand Manikutty has "turned the tables", as it were, on the rest of us! We will never know if the original message was deliberate or a joke. It is not uncommon to receive an empty email sent in error. As is typical of Silklist - a thread was made out of that in the style of test emails that say "ignore" and receive the response "ignored" The only thing missing from that series of innovative responses to a contentless email was a response from Anand. And when he did respond - everyone seems to have jumped into it looking for meaning. And if his meaning was actually a joke for the first empty message, the second one certainly caught everyone off guard by pretending to be a whiny complaining and serious response. He tops that off by creating a mailing list with no content! And he is being taken more and more and more seriosuly by the very people who were "having fun" responding to emty messages a few days ago. Well done. I liked that. To me this has ended up being an interestimg psychological experiment. shiv
