And all this emerges from that video or from watching what I rate as the
worst day of test cricket I have seen as an Indian fan in quite some time?

After seeing hotspot fail on a few occasions and my general disbelief at
some of the predictive paths during the world cup, I don't think I'm too
chuffed about certain elements of DRS. Of course DRS is useful to figure out
where the ball pitched and the replay will dictate how high it struck the
batsman on the pad and how far back or forward he was. But beyond that I am
not too big a fan of this predictive path crap. I offer no scientific
evidence - in fact if you believe the ICC the scientific evidence is stacked
against me. But to the naked eye some of these predictive paths seem
bizarre.
