http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dastak There was an occasion when Mohan was taking a bus from one of the smaller towns to Coimbatore, and the passengers (you guess the gender) were waiting for the "Silku bus".Curious, Mohan also decided to wait for the bus; everyone let two other buses go by. When he boarded the "Silku bus", there was no video. The grille behind the driver's seat had a larger-than-life poster of Silk Smitha. I remember very honest interview on one of the Tamil channels, where she explained, "This fad is not going to last. I have to earn money for a large family, and I want to make the most of what I have, until I fall out of favour with the audiences." I think the number of suicides amongst Tamil film stars and starlets (Shoba, Phataphat Jayalakshmi, Smitha....) shows up the great difficulties of their lives.
