In that sense, dmr's influence is complete -- I wouldn't have the
career I have without his work but I wouldn't have expected anything
world changing from him if he'd lived longer. If Jobs hadn't died I
wouldn't have been surprised if he orchestrated the creation of
another industry-disrupting product or technology.
