You are missing absolutely nothing. You have missed nothing by not knowing these social activists. Far be it fom me to advise you on what you should be doing - but you have probably saved several depressing days or weeks of reading time. Use that time well. I would suggest simply getting drunk or playing golf or doing something that you like and can do without some jerk making to feel that you are a stupid git and taking you on a guilt trip. shiv
