What is really bullshit, but considered fashionable is the supercilious snootiness that some self proclaimed connoisseurs of wine display when they think someone else is asking for wine that they dislike or worse a wine that the con-asser thinks is lousy is described as good. I have found it difficult to get past the feeling that at least 50% of wine con-assers are simply pretending, thereby bringing a bad name to the real connoisseurs who might possibly be nice unpretentious people. shiv
