Like a nobel prize winning author might not care or even know just how to balance his checkbook, or a famous scientist might fall for a pitiful scam. At a slightly more ordinary level, someone who likes distance running and researches up everything from footwear and diet to breathing techniques will probably detest maths as well. I choose not to touch maths with a bargepole except where it has any relevance to me. --srs
