Our Udhay has imposed an intro giving rite of passage on me... so here we go... *My Profile * Up until a short 10 days ago, I managed Corporate Communications and Audience Building for the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai (www.ncpamumbai.com), where I was handling communication and new media strategy, and public relations. In the past I have worked as a script writer, an assistant filmmaker (Black Magic Motion Pictures), a features reporter (DNA) and a content consultant (NEN Online). Before working at the NCPA, I worked with Breakthrough --- an NGO that promotes human rights using media education and pop culture. And I managed media for not-for-profit initiatives such as Mumbai Unplug 07 (similar to Earth Hour 60), and have been a core team member at The Goa Project 2013. I also coordinated the Literature programming for the Mumbai Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in 2008 and the Children's Literature programming for the same in 2009. I now intend to move to the UK for an academic sabbatical this fall. Until then... am engaging in lots of reading, music, small projects, hounding people on lists and just generally, plotting to take over the world.
