I am slowly working my way through the Mahabharata episodes online (having missed many in the Good Old Days). Such entertainment. Right now, Devaki and Vasudev's melodrama(just before the birth of Krishna) is keeping me in splits. Did any of the people on this mailing list watch these two serials? I had an aunt who would actually not go out anywhere on a Sunday morning. And it certainly was deserted, if one drove around during the telecast times. Having said that...some of the dialogue was wonderful. When Duryodhana faced death, I actually wept. *sniff*. Karna and Duryodhana are my favourite characters from the Mahabharata. I too wish women could deliver babies through the ear as was done by Kunti with Karna!
