Interesting. In the UK it was always miles per gallon as it was in the US, and still appears to be. I have not seen any car ads that refer to liters per 100 km, but I do know that heavy vehicles such as battle tanks usually come with information like "liters per km" Which countries specifically speak of "liters per 100 km?". shiv
