Embodying this very sentiment, I say hello to you all :)

Home, for me, over the years, has become a rather fluid concept -it was
Delhi at some point, then as I set foot outside India, "my country" gained
more meaning as my home. Over the years, the new cities I moved to started
to become home. It was then when I realised that cities, places, houses -
represented not home but a familiarity that made me feel comfortable. It
didn't necessarily give me a sense of belonging as I had anticipated.

What makes me feel like I am a part of something bigger, something I could
call home is when I'm in the company of like-minded people who are as lost,
or as found, as I am. People that are comfortable with these confusions,
questions and many possible answers.

Last night was a wonderful welcome into the Silklist community courtesy a
great meetup in Bangalore. I feel gratitude in knowing that there are
people out there who love food (can't stop eating and can't stop talking
about it!), who can partake in intelligent discourse with tolerance, who
are doing amazing things and sharing those learnings and being that unique
grain which makes this an eyebrow raising, intriguing collective.

With that said, this ET is looking forward to coming home :)

Cheers,
CC
