Slide thread-drift: if you're in Bangalore, write in to visit Amrut's distillery. It was quite fabulous, admiring the stills, getting the spiel and partaking of the angel's share. Unfortunately customs and excise rules meant they couldn't sell, but we could taste. Good lord that was fun.
