Hi,

I'm going to play a bit of a spoilsport here...

Success is achieving the goals that you set for yourself.

In my extremely humble opinion, it encompasses everything that has been
written on this thread so far.
And it makes it doubly important to make our goals in all spheres of life
explicit, so that we not lose sight of them while we chase our goals in one
particular sphere.

The story of an economic success leading to discontent - when the person
realises they missed out on family life etc. - is true to the point of
being a trope.
But also true is the story of those who chase a flourishing family life,
and realise they don't have enough money towards the end of life to remain
economically independent.

Regards,
Mohit
