I love Bendakalooru...names like Lakdikapul (although not a city name)
really resonate. I remember arriving at Virginia Tech in 1992 and falling
in love with Tom's Creek Road - seemed just right somehow that the road be
named after the creek. Just like Dhaula Kuan in Delhi might refer to  the
Pond-whose-water-was white/clear or Minnesota that means sky-tinted/cloudy
water!
