Well, I stopped taking the ratings seriously. I hover around 1350-1400 and get beaten by all kinds. But, I am learning a lot by letting my rating be a part of the game. Playing with so many people, and restricting it to just 2-3 specific time to play makes a huge difference. My win %age is about 30, but the game has taught me a great deal. Try it again without getting attached to the rating and see if you enjoy it. :) I love to play in person. If I come to Mumbai, I'll let you know. Likewise if you come to Bangalore.
