Everyone - thank you so much for your kind messages of welcome and interest in what I'm doing! Please forgive a slight delay in responding - I was busy yesterday on Equal Pay Day turning myself into a chatbot :)

Ingrid - yes, while I was in Mumbai three weeks ago, Parmesh Shahani of the Godrej India Culture Lab very kindly organized a gathering of members of the Indian sex-positive and sex education community to meet and talk with me, including the PointOfView team, and I have been monitoring for some time the great work going on in different parts of India in this area. If we are ever able to bring MLNP to India, I very much want to collaborate with, help aggregate and promote all of that great work. Our approach in India would be to operate on the ground to redesign and launch MLNP as a 'homegrown' localized India initiative - in the same way Paromita Devi's Agents Of Ishq are doing fantastic work on this front. I loved this video Paromita Devi played for me at that gathering: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLsqNCzSkZQ Deepa - you can get a sense of my and my team's experiences working on this if you check out the #sextechbiz section of our blog: https://talkabout.makelovenotporn.tv/category/sextechbiz/ Two words: extremely challenging. :) And to all of your comments - the Indian experience is precisely why one of the things I want to do with funding is to start the Khan Academy of sex education: http://fortune.com/2015/06/16/ceo-wants-khan-academy-of-sex-ed/ Many thanks - All the best, Cindy On Tue, Apr 4, 2017 at 1:36 PM, Dave Long <[email protected]> wrote: > The less said about Bollywood's (and its South Indian cousins') depiction >> of courtship, finding a partner, consent, ... etc., the better. >> > > As a not-so-adjacent alternative, how about a russian take on the problems > and joys* of complementary constructions? > "you're my everything" > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDcixye_0Jo > (very much less than frank, so maybe I'm putting myself firmly in the > middle-aged contingent by admiring their use [in leading up to the climax] > of similar angles and parallels?) > > -Dave > > * more algebraic than geometric, but what was once just a throwaway > footnote in "The Pleasures of Counting" is now a published title: "The Joy > of X" > > > -- Please help crowdfund my startup on iFundWomen: https://ifundwomen.com/projects/makelovenotporn Follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/cindygallop Book me to speak: http://www.robinsonspeakers.com/cindy-gallop-speaker-speakers-bureau Hire me to consult: http://adage.com/article/news/cindi-gallop/305457/
