I’m not – but what dates, around the event, which is October 5-7? And what would you prefer to do? Old forts and other such historic places? The beach (not a good idea as it is the monsoon)? Anywhere at all in India is an under two hour (and cheap!) flight from Bangalore so you have the whole country open to you – but depends on what your tastes are.
