I like Nautilus, Aeon, Narratively (for prurient but interesting stories),
and Longreads.  In fiction, there is One Story, which just publishes One
story.

This is not a weekly or monthly thing, but if you are the kind who keeps
books in your bathroom, there is a book with one great question to which
multiple people answer.  Edge.org
