Here's another thought for what it's worth. To make CS (don't get your
shorts in a bunch this isn't a CS post) you have to have electrolite
(solution) to get the current going. These have to be positive and negitive
materials (sodium and cloride or sodium and carbonate). The carbonate is
a positive and the sodium is a negitive. Correct me if I'm wrong Ken.
The electricity flows from negitive to positive depositing negitive ions
in the water with the silver.

From what I've read the negitive ions are real good for a person and
positive ions are bad for a person IE the negitive ion generators. They
even kill certian types of bacteria.

So the thought, what charge is Argon, neon, plasma, etc. If they are
negitive then that could open another door to what is causing the bacteria
to explode.
My first theory was that it was the iron in side the bacteria. Another
could be that each bacteria holds so much of a positive charge that inducing
a negitive field around the bacteria causes the positive ions to atract so
hard that they penitrate the bacterias outer surface.
What charge is iron negitive or positive?

Another thought, when you wrap the wire around the light do you go clockwise
or counter clockwise. It would make a difference as to a positive or negitive
field.
