Wow-- thanks Everybody, for all this "concrete" info on mercury in
fillings! I only remembered a little about it from a few yrs ago when
it was in the news so much.

That brings up 3 questions:

1. How does one diagnose this problem? (Can you give a summary of the
likely symptoms?)

2. Is mercury Still being used in fillings today???

3. a. In the case of my very healthy husband, who has a mouthful of
metal, could it be that he isn't effected by the mercury or it is
well-sealed/or a less amt than that found to be toxic, thus he has no
neg. effects?

    b. (Repeat) Could the silver in his fillings offer antimicrobial
properties?

Thanks for bearing with me and my inquisitiveness!

Update for List members with active Lyme Disease:
*************************************************

Friends at my Bible study are teasing me:"You're glowing with joy...
Still on that silver?"!

I think the silver I'm taking (I'm gradually increasing the dose: goal
1 ppm/per lb body wt. twice/day during active infection) is clearing
Lyme brain fog I didn't know I had-- the clearer I think, the more
questions/insights I have! I seem to go through this every time I
increase the dose.

Along with that comes more mild, generalized aches/sx & some old nuero
sx (mainly eye sx: blurred vision, delayed opening of my right eye upon
arisal) most likely from the toxins. (Always happens when I increase
the silver intake) But I'm far better than a stand-alone Lyme relapse.

Oddly, I have more energy! I was actually jumping rope a few minutes
with my kids yesterday. I hadn't even tried that for about 10 years.
And I don't need as much sleep. Those of us with Lyme ought to try to
increase our circulation & body temp. as this stirs up & draws the
bacteria out from deep tissue with little circulation to where the
silver can better get at it. Aerobics is an active way to to it; a
sauna is a passive way to to it.

Someone gave me a great idea for a free sunny day sauna: sit in a hot
car for several minutes! (I'd clarify, not in a "running car" unless
you are going somewhere.)

Sincerely,
Nancy
