Hi Scott, Marsha, Donna, Reid, Mike, et. al., I recently got an e-mail ad with a reference to "BioTech News" which featured an article on "stabilized Oxygen." This is of particular interest to me as right now, there are experiments going on using the hyperbaric chamber & O2 to treat Lyme disease. And about the same time I was learning about this, I had attended a creation science seminar in which the speaker stated that our earth's O2 concentration is much lower than it was pre-flood (Noah's flood.)
The article/ad makes the same point that our atmosphere used to have more oxygen. Their reasons are different than mine, though. I believe that there really was a worldwide flood, and before that, there hadn't been any rain per say. Instead, as the book of Genesis says, there was a huge water vapor canope over the earth, and waters underneath the earth crating a desireable greenhouse effect. Probably some volcanoes or some other atmospheric disturbance that God allowed caused the water canope to condense & fall as rain, while underground water sources rose to the surface like geisers or something. (Do you think I'm crazy yet? I'm just warming up here!) Anyway, with the water canope in place, we would have been better protected from the sun,and the earth would have a more even temperature, explaining the (now frozen) presence of tropical plants at the poles, and other oddities. The flood could also explain the sea life on mountains (which rose up in the turbulance, shifting of plaits, etc.) And I believe that the "fossil periods" just generally represent the survival/floating abilities of different types of animals, the fishes/sea life (most numerous in the fossil record) being the first to get buried, followed by reptiles and finally mammals (actually quite rapidly) in that big flood. Quick burial by the flood of tropical forests would create our massive, wonderful coal beds and oil "banks." On the downside, we've got more sun exposure, less oxygen, and who knows what plants for good nutrition got wiped out, never mind the animal life. Anyway, as excited I am about colloidal silver and how it's helped me, I can't help but get excited over discussions of Oxygen therapy, be it by hyperbaric chamber, aerobic exercise (well, not that excited about that!) or otherwise, as I do think this could be a key to our well being. Certainly not a cure-all. We all suffer genetic damage due to a degenerating gene pool (quite the opposite of the evolutionary model where everything's supposed to be getting better!) Anyway, here's that website if you are interested in reading about "stabilized O2". http://www.readbiotech.com/ Also, here's info on HBOT, you can check out my not so fancy webpages on it: http://www.connix.com/~berntsen/hbot.htm & http://www.connix.com/~berntsen/hbolinks.htm . I checked out this ad, and it sounds like it gets processed very similar to colloidal silver. Any comments on this product or it's effectiveness or discussion of "oxygen rich foods", etc. would be appreciated. Can we actually benefit from taking oxygen orally? I never thought about this before. Sincerely, Nancy ([email protected]) http://www.connix.com/~berntsen/ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowlege him and he will direct your paths. Prov. 3: 5,6
