Hi Everyone I have been following the discussion with Mr Nowell, and personally don't feel that Mr Nowell has been "out of bounds", other than his remark to Scott concerning the ending amendments to his posts. I believe that he was merely responding to an attack on his credibility and/or motives. It seemed to me that he was set upon by a wolf pack almost as soon as he appeared, and was attacked as if he was a representative of the "evil empire". If his firm appears to be exploitative in their prices, he should be given the opportunity to defend their position. If he maintains that non-commercial CS is ineffective, he should be given the opportunity to explain why this is so - excluding the profit motive of course. Mr Nowell could be queried on many aspects of CS, it would seem that he IS an authority on the subject. It just seems to me that maybe we are chasing off a good source of information. If his motive was just to denigrate an effective remedy soley from the profit standpoint, I believe that would become evident in due time.
In case anyone is wondering, I do make my own CS, but am not an authority on the subject by any stretch of the imagination. I also have nothing but contempt for anyone who exploits the unfortunate or the uneducated, either by outright deception or just omitting some of the facts. Such conduct is totally reprehensible (explains my abhorence of politics and the "news" in general, but I digress). What I am saying here folks ( IMHO), is that a great opportunity to benefit from a discussion with Mr Nowell may be lost here (or am I alone in this)? If the majority of the list disagrees, then I will certainly accept that the majority has spoken. No problem with that. I do know that when things get personal, the whole business goes into the dumper. I know that the list isn't for spamming, but I really didn't believe that it had gotten to that point, yet anyway. I think that the wagons were circled a little too quickly - BEFORE the shooting started. Just one guy's opinion who really does "luv y'all". Lynn
