----------- Well gang, I gotta say... after months of monitoring this list and gleaming some useful bits from it, I make my first post: Boy am I dissapointed in you. For weeks I've been hungering for simply a new viewpoint on the topic of colloidal silver. The MLM crowd gave such a myopic point of view that I was overjoyed to find a real-people mailing list. However, it too seemed to fall prey to the same problem: Similar folks attract each other. Such that, over time, no real new ideas get generated in such an environment and it can go stale. Look at science itself. It has been said that new paradigms in science were accepted not on their merit... but rather because of the "dying-off" of the opposition. (Alternative health may be the next champion of that "rule," in fact.) Your reaction to Mr. Nowell, and your subsequent attempts to censor him are appalling. He has presented, albeit in not the most pleasant manner, different ideas. I am reminded of the time when a certain astronomer was jailed by the church simply because his ideas did not match theirs. Need I add that it does not matter if Mr. Nowell is a charlatain or if his product is ultimately proven in-valid. His participation here is not in-valid. This is a list about silver. All opinions should be welcome. Especially those that oppose your own. If you have been personally insulted by Mr. Nowell's words, take it up with him personally. I subscribe to this list to gather information on colloidal silver, not to wade through megabytes of personal vendettas and insecure outbursts. If this continues I will have to rely on more objective sources for my personal research. Tolerance, people. Please. Your arrogance is showing. Mark Youngren
