I was recently checking a bunch of old postings I saved from alt.health or something like that I collected in my early websurfing on the subject of CS.
>From what I read there, apparently, ingesting an electricly charged silver particle is much safer than ingesting a silver ion. And it seems that's what we make-- electricly charged silver particles (which eventually lose their charge and come out of solution). But is that the same thing as an ionic solution? Some old posters there seemed to think so, and that was the basis that they thought CS is unsafe-- that it involves ingesting ions that are much more readilly absorbed than ordinary silver particles such as those that may be ingested from silverware, drinking water, etc. Can someone chemically knowlegeable clarify/differentiate this in simple terms for us chemistry illiterates? I make my CS with the homemade electrocolloidal method/unit. If I have more questions or need to clarify, I won't be able til after Labor day but would appreciate any insight here. Happy holiday to everyone!
