Hi All 'Silver-Heads' About the discussion Golden Colored CS. I am using a device called "quicksilver". It is one of those plastic boxes with a battery and a lightbulb for over 100 $US. I know I paid to much but that happens. The instructions where to shine through the (clear) glass with a flashlight while you are making the CS. The cloud between the 2 silver electrodes should be golden according to the information. The process takes around 15 to 20 minutes and the clouds I saw where silver colored. Not golden. I tried changing brands of distilled water and YES I found a brand that produces a Golden Cloud. Even after several days the liqued is still a bit golden coloured when I put it on a spoon.
