Don't know how much advice you are getting on this posting, but I have used 2 sources for 999 Fine Silver. 1) I purchased a 1 oz 999 Fine Silver medal at a coin shop for $5.00. This I cut in half lengthwise for 2 electrodes. Use them at about 2 inch spacing in 8 oz. of distilled water, I used 4-9 volt batteries in series for 36 volts. This works quite well. I stop the process each 20 min or so to repolish the electrodes as they form oxidation. 2) I bought some 3 gague silver wire from a jeweler friend, he had to order it so it took a few days. I got 36 inches for I think $3.00 or $4.00. This can be cut into convienent lengths.
