Mark,

Diabetes is an immune disorder. Not many people look at it that way, it's
had a long time to earn its reputation. The Environmental Health Center
may be able to do the incremental things that need changing, or find what
in her environment has increased her load so that she is expressing this
disease. Everything people have said are good. Something one can try to
give some Hope to this mom is to detox the environment. You know, good
water, all cotton or natural products, no perfumes in washing soaps etc to
calm down her immune system. 214-368-4132 is the main # there they have a
store with a catalogue that you can order books about how to do this. I
would also make a phone consult with Carolyn Gorman and see what she has to
say--she teaches about this stuff same # The Book "Are you tired orToxic"
is good too. Dr Rogers is a female physician that treats environmentally
she has many books out. The amputations needn't occur. My friend's son
came down with this twnty some years ago and she took him to an
endocrinologist in Houston that kept things under control by latting him
eat what he wanted within reason and adjusting the insulin accordingly.
There is also the continuous insulin pump worn on a belt pre-programmed
according to activity and calories and type of calories. Just takes
learning about everything. Like how to build a Rife device--some of us are
just challenged that way.

Good Luck
Blessings,
Susan+
