Dear mutual list members, It is a sad thing to witness good people leaving a list because they won't put up with personal affronts. Perhaps we can find it within ourselves to behave in a better manner? I know, from personal experience, that it is very easy to argue a point with a computer rather than an individual, but let's try to remember that there are people at the other end of the messages.
For every educated person that leaves a list, the list loses important imput. Valuable participation and the fruit it has to offer will be lessened as a result. If we wish to drive all of them away, we will have to go and get our own education so that we will know what they might have shared freely with us. Maybe, for the sake of sharp-wittedness, we can start a list where chaos is the rule and insults are appropriate. Actually, it might have merit. Sincerely, Robert Ray
