He was with his family and friends. He struggled on Friday and during the morning Saturday, but slipped into unconsciousness early Saturday afternoon. From that point on he slowed down - gradually - until he took his last breath. At his bedside we shared memories: there were lots of tears and not a small amount of mirth, because Don inspired so much in us. He was talented and sweet and courageous. He was an excellent person to have known and loved. He is my hero. Barb, Ray, Deb, Danet, Doug, My Mom, Mike, Sue and Michael were all in attendance. You all did so much to help make his life better and he greatly appreciated it. We all owe you. Thanks Louis Romestant ---------- End of forwarded message ---------- For those of you who don't know him, Dameon suffered from Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a congenital disease that effects many of the body's systems. One of the major problems, which is often the cause of CF patients death, is lung infections. Dameon discovered, rather too late, unfortunately, a vigorous regimen of supplements and alternative treatments that extended his life and improved his health a great deal. Colloidal silver was a component of that regimen, and he attributed months of clear lung cultures to it. He was about my age, 43 or so, which puts him in the uppermost percentiles of CF survivors. No small feat for someone who didn't learn how to treat it until after much damage was done. I hope his friends and supporters will see that what he learned is made available to other sufferers of CF. Dameon, I'm glad I knew you. Mike D.
