You may notice an influx of new members over the next few weeks.
Many of these will have been members of the csilver list hosted by Jamestown
College, which ceased to exist 10-12-98, after a robust exchange between
listers and Rosemary Jacobs the so called 'blue lady'. Some would say that
Rosemary proved be quite inflexible in thought, and belligerent and irritating
in manner, but she claims to have researched the literature about the skin
condition Argyria for 30 yrs, and may have some information that could be of
interest to us all. Indeed she was just about 'smite' the list with proof that
CS as we know it (minute elemental silver particles suspended in pure water)
does cause Argyria when the list unceremoniously ceased to be. I do not know
whether this exchange was the cause of the lists demise, in my opinion, it
should not have been.
I have archived some of this exchange, and make it available to anyone
interested.
I understand that the csilver was started by and for people who use Bruce Marx
HVAC machines (CSPRO) and although the silver-list seems mainly concerned with
LVDC systems I have found the csilver listers to be intelligent, informed, and
caring, and I am sure those who join the silver-list will be a valuable
addition to our community.
