Hi, Case in point. My sis had her first root canal this year. 4 trips to the dentist and $1200 dollars later, that is. After that she started getting illnesses. One after another. She generally isn't sick and when she is she just keeps on ticking. This stuff was bad. I talked with her about the resaerch I had done.(in the 30's they deemed root canals dangerous to people's health--sorry don't have the bio. Try Huggins) So, the only answer she could come up with was to just stay on antibiotics and see., Well she is better, but tires easily. Her decision. She said, "but I have already spent the money" Things seem to come down to money. They sterilize the root with a chlorine preparation that is so strong that when I walked into the office 30 mins after the last patient who had the root canal, I reacted to the chlorine. Chlorine is one of my biggies though. A person has to have a very strong Immune system to withstand that and a very good and sterile field, and how do they get the peri-dontic infection? This doc doesn't use antibiotics, just slices and dices. Nuf said. CS would be good.
