dear roel, family and friends of jovo,
i thank you for informing me about jovo's departure from this planet earth.
tuangporn had called me in chiang mai just minutes after jovo had passed on.
about 10 days prior to jovo's departure he and tuangporn were about to
visit me here in chiang mai, he cancelled his trip due to some matter to be
taken care of in hkg.
jovo is one of the most rare and beautiful people i've ever had the
pleasure to meet and i am grateful for having felt his love and friendship.
the world would be a much better place with more people of his love and wisdom.
i love his drive and passion for whatever it was he believed in.
his friends and loved ones were always very dear to him.
i remember this summer, just before his two sons christian and nicolas were
about to arrive in hkg, he was so excited and looking forward to spending
time with them, planning on how to make their trip the most fun.
it was beautiful to see that even though not much time was spend between
them in the past, a deep bond had formed nonetheless.
my wish is for you to tell christian and nicolas that their daddy loved
them very much and that he often talked about them with great love and
admiration in his voice and heart.
now, looking back at the past couple of month of his life it seems like a
harmonious completion had taken place, some of his closest friends (anup,
mike and myself) left hong kong, christian and nicolas coming for the
summer, yours and monica's wedding, the birth of his nephew sean and also
his mothers visit seemd to have brought his departure to a somewhat
fulfilled finale.
