I just happened across your post today. I am one of the principals in a
non-profit research foundation. Several years ago (l994-1996) we conducted
some research on the efficacy of CS on alimentary disorders in animals
(primarily dogs and cats). Based on the sometimes spectacular results, many
of the research staff's membership---and family members---initiated general
use of colloidal silver in cases of food poisoning, acute digestive
afflictions, etc. The results have been, universally, positive. Although
anecdotal in nature, the results among staff member families was
sometimes----stunning, both in speed and completeness of favorable response.
e.g. several cases of acute food poisoning responded with total recovery in
between 4-6 hours. The controls [those who used other treatments; varied in
recovery from 4 to 14 days]. Interestingly, three of these occasions involved
a common--simultaneous--vector; thus providing an excellent comparative
results field. NOTHING we have ever evaluated works as well--or as
quickly--as colloidal or ionic silver water, in the treatment of
gastro-intestinal disorders of a bacterial or viral nature (this includes
botulinum). From among the some 12 different commercial CS and Ionic silver
solutions we evaluated, one was, generally, superior to all others in response
speed and dependability. It was a product we obtained from a small company
somewhere in Idaho. The product was called WaterOz. Although I no longer
have an address on file, I am quite sure they can be located through one of
the better search engines.
BTW the ppm content of WaterOz was, as I recall, rather high; somewhere
around 100ppm. The maximum we used in our human evalutions was four (4)
teaspoons of 100ppm per day. However, during toxicity evaluations, volunteers
consumed as much as 4000ppm daily for ten days----with absolutely no
side-effects. All of oiur research has shown that there has been ABSOLUTELY
NO ARGYRIA symptoms.....no matter how much CS was administered, when using
true electro-generation for CS resulting from low voltage (27vdc) DC
sources; pure distilled water, and .9999 pure silver electrodes.
If I had the condition you describe, I would obtain commercial CS or
Ionic silver solutions from a reliable supplier. I WOULD NOT attempt to use
'home-made" CS solutions---unless you are quite experienced at this.
A word of caution. While not of great import, some of our family
members---after 10-15 days of continuous use of 5-8 teaspoons of 100ppm CS,
experienced mild "loose stool" conditions. Although not positive this was
caused by the death of beneficial bacillus micro-organisms; a protocol of
six (6) 50 mg tablets of lacto-bacillus A. per day, was instituted.
The "average" dosage for 150 lb. adults was approximately 3 teaspoons
of 100ppm CS daily, given in two separate doses and followed with 1 cup of
clean water. This was continued until all symptoms had subsided. I hope
