Hi Dameon and all, You said that you have a brown "burned on " sediment and that the Sears cleaner crystals won`t dissolve it. Don`t know what the brown sediment is and don`t know what the cleaner crystals are composed of. Suggest you scrub it with new sharp steel wool pad ( I use stainless pads). Plain Pads ,no soaps . If some still remains, pour plain vinegar in it and let it set for a few days. When done pour out the vinegar,rinse with tap water and its ready to go again. Had a pot that was left on stove so long that there was only a burned black crust left in it . Worked days trying to get the black burned stuff out of it with no luck.Was going to throw the pot away. Waitress friend told me to soak it in vinegar for as long as it takes (three days in this case) to get it clean again, and it worked. I was skeptical at first. Wondering how it got the burned on stuff in the first place.Always clean the machine after each use, don`t let it accumulate until it becomes a problem.
