Hi Paul! As you might suspect by now, I don't have the list set up
for stringent moderation. If you post it, it goes out. I just clean
up the mess after the damage is done. So this post went to the list.
Which is no problem, as it can hardly be described as spam or blatant
commercial promotion. <grin>

Unlikely but possible. The thing you pay the premium for, in
addition to the purity, is the analysis -- their guarantee. If
they've got more .9999 at the mill than anyone is ordering, it's not
impossible for them to sell some for .999. The problem being, you
won't *know* for sure.

Thank you. Marsha Hallett has done this for us in the past to help
people get around the minimum order. I'm sure she won't mind the
help. There is at least one online vendor selling electrodes for ten
bucks a set, which is also reasonable.

36 volts is a nod towards Peter Lindemann's ideas. You are correct
that 27 volts is more common. I don't have a problem either way.
We'll see what people want to do.
