I had no idea about this regulation in the Philippines.  I
had a Chinese friend who worked for Pfizer.  He used to
stock up on antibiotics from the Philippines now and then
when he got a chance.  He was his own pharmacist!  And he
was big on taking time released vit. C too.

I've been told that a lot of antibiotics are available from
pet supply (grain, etc.) stores.  Some people desperate to
treat undiagnosed Lyme disease have been "forced" to go that
route to get antibiotics for themselves.
