I also used liquid colloid of silver in my shampoo.  (But be sure your
shampoo is "safe enough to eat," since the ingredients in the shampoo can
be readily absorbed through your scalp and into your body.)  Since it
takes about 6 minutes for silver to kill pathogens, I left the shampoo on
my hair for about 6 minutes. For me, this resulted in less dandruff.
