Your original question was: What is deionized water,(?) Is it (as) good to drink as (compared) to regular distilled water? Its your choice John,there is no such thing as better, its all in what you want your water to be. If you have clean ,sterile, deionized water and want to drink it ,thats fine. If you have clean,sterile,deionized distilled water and you want to drink it,thats fine. Its your choice. If your water can only claim its deionized and thats all its got going for it I`d pass on it. Thats my choice. You make your own choice. :-)
