Bruce & colloidal silver listers, thank you for directing me to some very helpful info regarding colloidal silver production.I have made a unit somewhat larger than your handheld models due to transformer inside(no batteries).Concerning the monitoring of the conductivity of the solution I incorporated a small (500microamp,200 ohm)analogue meter using a 1 ohm shunt to indicate current(0 to 100mA) flowing in the solution.Hopefully this will ease repeatabilty of c.s quality.I also consider that if an optimum mA level is determined (assuming the distilled water doesn'tary),it may not be too difficult to have an auto shut off in the circuit. This would mean a very easy to use unit. My unit isn't for market ;personal use only.By the way,as a pulser unit I found the 556;(dual 555) very useful .I have the first stage at about 2 to 100 Hz controlling the second stage (about 1kHz to 20kHz) via the reset input of the second stage. If this arrangement was continued in successive stages you can see how simple it is to generate a multi wave oscillator (possibly set to harmonics of a large order) At the moment just a musing. Anyhow have a nice pulse, pete
