Nancy, If the beano works for you the digestive enzymes i wrote about will probably work better, they are mnore comprehensive. You can use them for digestion or for the other things I wrote about.
In the morning I drink a very large amount of something that is sweetened with stevia, or another sweetener NOT ASPARTAME--EQUAL WHICH BREAKS INTO WOOD ALCOHOL AND HAS CAUSED DEATHS! Your craving for sweets is like a heroin addict for heroin really!! The yeast want to be fed and they know how to get to you and they will get to you so bad that you will eat something purely seet just for some peace. Know anybody in AA? they might be able to help you in this area also--same difference, different disease. I somehow can get around this with stevia sweetened celestial seasons Ice Box Tea. Stevia does not feed Candida and is xxxxxx times sweeter than sugar. Try it. Also CS is an astringent so that if you take it on an empty stomach before you go to bed, you may eventually end up with some inflammation of the mucosal lining of your stomach. I use George's Distilled Aloe Vera Juice for this and then I don't take it that way. Be a little forgiving. If you are doing the right program 95% of the time then if you are absolutely forced to eat a sweet you will simply pay for it in die-off later. Eat frequent small meals--graze --that equal one per day of everything that you can eat. Eat different things everyday. The sulfer vegetables like cauliflower aid in not feeding candida and may increase your craving. My brain seems satisfied with the artifical so far. I use Club Soda also for Fizz--I love Fizz and seltzer water. I buy real black cherry concentrate from Vitamin shoppe--crushed cherries and pits and put it in the fizzy stuff--black cherries are anti parasitic and some anti fungal. I can black cherries to eat when I want some fruit serve two purposes. If I eat too many black cherries I will get sicky too. What is the answer? You just have to try stuff. Even when you eat. If you are very ill and have very little strength then eating later in the day is better b/c it takes a lot of energy to digest food. That is the way I am--admit it is not ideal. I eat once a day in the late afternoon,l otherwise, I have no strength to do anything else. I spend all my time until then drinking all these concoctions that I think up. I make blackberry juice from the mountain every year and I can get away with that and club soda--you'd think it was champagne!!! But it doesn't seem to advance my craving so I just balance. Of cours water is a given. A person said this to me, that if I just eat a little of what I crave then it will all stop and maybe that is what I need to do. Pickles are a nono but s/t a pickle will erase craving. Its what you can live with. If you have food allergies, enzymes will help also a book called If It's Tuesday it Must Be Chicken is a great starter for a rotating diet, teaches you, gives you choices and recipes. Rotating foods every four days or more has long been the best solution for allergies that are more univeral in the food area. If something really bothers you leave it out. I used to drink milk when I wanted sugar and it would go away like majic, Now I am allergic to milk. Roll with the punches I guess. Beef is a very usual allergen b/c you have proabably eaten it every week since you were born. Milk too and then corn. Good way to see how you do is to take all the things you ususally eat and put them away and substitute something you rarely ever eat for two weeks and see how you feel. Then add back in. If you can't get anyhthing to work there is always ultraclear, I rice based food supplement which is all you get for several weeks. It does not feed Candida and provides you with nutrition, you will have die off, but it may get your stomach a rest until you can get back on line again. Hope this answered your questions. Yes I am still a bit redundant when I tyupe!!!<grin> Susan >Date: Thu, 30 Apr 1998 14:07:04 -0800 >To: "Nancy B." <[email protected]> >From: "Susan M.
