Halooo Fred ! Another readily availabe source for brown glass bottles I've found is beer! A little cheaper are the non-alcoholic brews. (Speaking of vile stuff...) All the beer bottles I've seen in years have twist-off caps, which seem to be nicely reuseable if you don't use a bottle opener on them. I've even been able to heat the bottles and re-seal them vacuum tight. Additionally, many of your friends might be willing to donate them to you if you offer to pick them up.
