I just wanted to say thank you for that information. I had a theory that the ionic charge of water increased when it was heated but couldn't think of a way to test it. You having fun just proved what I was thinking. The thought was when water is heated it causes the ionic charge to increase to a more of a negitive level. The theory goes like this: The ionsphere surounding the earth is a positive charge and the earth itself is a negitive charge. When you heat water it causes it to increase the negitive ions in the water. When it reachs the point where it is steam then it rises. Since the earth is a negitive and the ionsphere is a positive then the negitive ions of the steam are repelled from the earth and attracted to the ionsphere. So the steam rises toward the sky. That could also explain why heating the water causes the device to produce a higher PPM. You not only have molicules moving faster but a higher ionic charge.
