A colloidal silver particle as generated in this (electrical) process, has a
positivecharge when it separates from the silver Anode. The
definition of ION is'a particle with a charge'.

All colloidal silver particles then alsofall under the label 'silver ions';
what makes them 'colloidal' is their tendency to stay in solution
due to their fine particle size, and their charge - they repel all
other silver particles with a similar charge.

The Scientific Method:
My conclusions so far.

After some more thought on the matter, I have concluded that silver
does combine with chloride ions and precipitate out of solution, being
insoluble in water. This means that it is not absorbed.

So, if you add salt to the water to increase conductivity then you are
adding sodium chloride, and what precipitates out in the bottom of the
glass is AgCl until all the chloride ions are used up, at which point
the silver particles that are left stay in solution.

This is obviously a waste of silver, so I am no longer putting even pure
salt in the water because of this fundamental reaction with chloride, but
instead recommend distilled water.

I also listened to Bruce Stenulson, who has experience with fine particle
suspensions, and he has drawn what I think is a correct analogy between
the fact that pure colloidal gold solutions appear purple, yet gold is
clearly a yellowish metal, therefore pure silver solutions can also appear
yellow despite the fact that silver is a whitish metal. This is all based
on the properties of reflection of light based on particle size and
NOT on the presence of impurities in the water with which the
silver has made TOXIC compounds.

So, I am going to take another look at CS Pro systems, despite the cost,
as the evidence is mounting that high voltage will produce the desired
particles in a whole lot shorter time, but these systems are priced for
production for sale to others (or heavy individual usage).

This leads me to conclude that lower voltage systems also work but it
takes a whole lot longer to get to a certain PPM concentration.
