I was not convinced that the study was as airtight in its design as one could hope, but was about as good as you could do with limited resources and a few individuals. As I mentioned to at least one person back then: The MW controversy deserves mention so people can make an informed decision, and our standardized protocols will include non-MW alternatives. Food contamination is a far likelier possibility than any detrimental effect on distilled water, *BUT* we don't know everything we don't know.
