I don't know exactly what it is, but every time I post to the list I usually get several replies. The only *problem* is they come to me and not over the list!!
I know some folks have been a bit sensitive to off-topic posting, but when there's a lull I hardly think it'll be a problem. Looking back over my archive, there's been whole months when there were just a couple handfuls of posts. So it's entirely normal for list activity to go up and down. When it's percolating along at several posts per day and multiple threads, by all means keep a tight reign. When it's this quiet, relax a bit. You don't have to have earth-shattering news for it to be of interest. Take my fish postings for example!! <G> So please reply to the list so everyone can participate. Unless the information is truly private, or so off topic as to be objectionable, I'd rather everybody hear what folks are saying.
