Hi, everybody,

I'm way behind on reading all the posts so forgive me if I've repeated
anyone's comments.

I read Marsha's post about getting flamed. It is Dr. Willy Burgerdorph
(sp???) himself that suggests that silver suffocates microbes. I read
that at on the website Lawrence Nowell is associated with (mild silver
protein pages). Also, colloidal silver is not a bunch of silver ions.
Can someone quote a reference for that? I haven't got one handy at the
moment, but a good rebuttal would be as scientific as possible, and not
antagonistic.

About heat and color of cs, I consistently get yellow to deep amber
solutions heating my water first in the MW for 5 min. and then
maintained on a cup sized hot plate.

But if I let it get excessive exposure to light and possibly air,(i.e.,
when letting it cool down in a clear jar before bottling, or keeping it
in a brown or more translucent blue glass bottle exposed to light), over
a matter of hours to days, the color indeed continues to change from
amber to rose to nearly colorless to particulate greenish or purplish
black to time to dump this in the plants and make some more. This only
occurs with too much exposure to light and possibly air.

It is important to keep the solution out of the light. So I guess
cooling it down with a pot or bag or something over it, and capping it
as soon as it's back to room temp. would be wise.

I'm fighting off some sort of epigastric bug or something; I've had an
upset stomach & fatigue, palpitations for about a week now. Sound
familiar to anyone? (email me mailto:[email protected]). Trying to
figure out if it's a persistent bug or if my gall bladder is talking
back to me or what. (My children had a stomach bug.)

Sincerely,
Nancy Berntsen
