Most everybody here uses it orally or topically. Does anyone out
there have any anecdotes on injection or IV use?
That said, I will make a few cautious comments and suggestions. I am
not a doctor and I don't play one TV.
The first thing is, *don't* believe the skeptics who ridicule the
idea of putting silver *anything* in your body. They're off base.
Colloidal silver that consists of particles of .001 to .005 microns
diameter pure silver, electrolytically made in distilled water, are
not going to be toxic in any quantities you would consider using.
Nobody's been poisoned or turned blue (argyria) from that kind of CS.
People continually trash CS because of the known hazards of silver
*salts* and other compounds, and preparations with *much larger*
particles that are all *known* to cause problems. These things are
*not* colloidal silver.
Also, some CS that is sold commercially is simply not of good or
consistant quality. Thus results have been spotty and people have
been disappointed. And a lot of MLM companies are hawking the stuff
in every way possible and pissing people off.
For a good overview of CS in general, see the following article:
http://www.elixa.com/silver/lindmn.htm
That brings us to the question of what *you* are going to do.
We have a number of people here who have successfully treated
themselves for Lyme disease through oral administration of CS over
many months. Their symptoms have been well controlled, and some
consider themselves cured.
For one such account, visit:
http://www.connix.com/~berntsen/bb-lyme/c-silver.htm
Lyme is caused by a particularly pernicious bug that gets deep into
the tissues and can't be killed easily during much of its life cycle.
Even so, these folks have found oral CS to have as much or more
effect than IV antibiotics with fewer adverse side effects. So on
that basis you might even consider the oral route.
You also might consider inhalation as a way to get it directly to
the site of the infection.
Now, how about the IV issue...
The key is getting a preparation that would be safe and well
quantified. You can't just cook something up in a glass of water and
inject *that*. IV solutions, besides having to be sterile and pure,
are also balanced to be compatible with blood chemistry. Unless *you*
know what you're doing, I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself.
The one suggestion I would make is to contact Advantage
Pharmaceuticals and ask them about IV preparations of their Mild
Silver Protien product.
Now, bear in mind that they hate our guts over there because we
choose to make our own instead of buying their stuff. So they will
try to convince you in every way possible that theirs' is the *only*
thing in the universe that can possibly work. Don't believe them.
But I have no reason to believe that their product is anything but
what they say it is. They have a licensed facility and levels of
quality control that are probably unique in this business. They also
charge an arm and a leg for it!
They make a great effort to try to appeal to doctors, and would
probably cooperate with you or your doctor if anybody will.
You can read their considerable online collection at:

Please let us know how you are treated and what they say?

It is appropriate to say that CS will not eliminate this disease,
which is caused by an inherited genetic condition. (Which you know
already, of course.) But if it improves your quality of life and
extends your years, that will be a great good.
Members of the silver list will sympathize with your search for a
better way. Many have given up on (or were given up on by)
mainstream medicine.

I hope I am not the only one who responded to you, and that you have
recieved some useful help. Again, I'm not a doctor and these are only
my amateur opinions.
Please let us know what you decide, and how it works out. And just
ask if there is anything more we can do to aid your research. You
have our support and prayers.
Sincerely,
Mike
