The beck-style devices no longer recommend using salt. They recommend saving some of your silver mixture to use as a starter for the next batch. I'm making 48 oz. at a time and using 12 oz. as a starter (1/4 is starter). Beck only recommends making 8 oz. at a time (2 oz. would be starter) Margaret [email protected]
