I live in San Francisco and our water is fluoridated. Chlorine, I believe, is 
dissipated when left standing (altho' it might take some time) but not 
fluoride. Osmosis and distillation is time consuming. The Sears distiller is 
probably a catalog item. Not in our store. There is a British filter which 
removes guardia(?) and maybe fluorid but  lost the web address when my 
computer crashed.
